Combining the spirit of fitness and solidarity, Vedanta Limited coordinated’ The Run For Unity’ across locations on the occasion of National Unity Day. The event was arranged to celebrate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 144th birthday and his outstanding contributions to the nation’s building and unification. The event, which was conducted across Vedanta’s 4 operations under Vedanta Aluminium and Power, namely Jharsuguda, Lanjigarh, BALCO, and TSPL, saw enthusiastic participation of more than 450 employees and families who came together with much fervor. 

Staying true to the cause, Vedanta’s affiliate organisations, including the Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) team, joined the group. The event also witnessed the active participation of the respective unit senior officials who kicked off the event and welcomed the participants.

Meanwhile, on National Unity Day, Hindustan Zinc Limited, a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited, set up and dedicated a 400-meter athletic track at Chittorgarh with an investment of about 72 lakes to inspire and foster regional talent.
